McDermott’s monochrome images reveal a dark and moody side of the temples.

John McDermott’s images capture an Angkor that is rapidly vanishing: the hidden realm of temples lost in the jungle. This remarkable artistic portrait of the temples is on display now at McDermott Gallery at FCC Angkor.

John first opened the doors of his gallery in 2004 at FCC. The tranquil riverside property hosts some of Siem Reap’s finest boutiques and galleries, and is a marvelous location for a sunset cocktail overlooking the river.
